Individualized Clinical Supervision for Counselors in Training

Learning and growing are lifelong endeavors. Though I have supervised over 80 people, I continue to learn from each supervisee, building my repertoire of supervision knowledge and skills. Just like quality counseling, supervision is a highly individualized process, not cookie-cutter. As an experienced counselor educator and clinical supervisor, I approach working with counselors-in-training and provisionally licensed professionals, with humility and confidence. My goal is to help you grow, exponentially. I do this by offering ideas, thought-provoking questions, and both positive and corrective feedback, all in a supportive, compassionate supervisory relationship. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) in North Carolina thus able to provide clinical supervision (in-person and online) to North Carolina licensed LCMHCA counselors and interns who are permitted to provide virtual counseling (some CACREP programs require at least 50% of clinical sessions in-person).
