Counseling is an investment in yourself and in the life you deserve to live.
Fees & Insurance Overview
Counseling is a vital part of your well-being and personal growth. It is an investment in yourself, your relationships, and creating the life you deserve to live. In our effort to support you, we are both an in-network provider as well as a private-pay practice.
We are in-network with select insurance plans for individual psychotherapy services, including Aetna, Medcost, and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). All other plans are considered out-of-network. If we are out-of-network, we’re happy to provide you with a detailed receipt (“superbill”) after each session for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. If a superbill fits your situation, Thrizer is a time-saving resource that can submit these superbills for you.
If you prefer the benefits of paying for your own counseling, our private pay fee structure is based on therapist experience level and length of session. Doctoral-level, seasoned therapists have fees ranging from $175 – $300. Therapists with a Master’s degree and an Associate’s license have reduced fees ranging from $100 – $165, allowing clients to choose a lower cost provider who is under the supervision of a highly experienced therapist. In addition, our Master’s degree associates will work on a sliding scale with some clients under financial stress.
When available and appropriate, groups or workshops allow people to gain support and knowledge in a therapeutically meaningful modality for less.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit card, Health Savings Accounts, and Flexible Spending Accounts. All co-payments and out-of-pocket payments must be paid at the time of service. There is a $50 fee for appointments that are missed or cancelled late (with less than 24 hour notice).
